Chrysanthemum grower René Eikelenboom joins Decorum Board

Decorum, a Dutch alliance of flower and plant growers, is delighted to announce René Eikelenboom as a new Board member.

Eikelenboom is co-owner of Arcadia, a renowned grower and supplier of disbudded Chrysanthemums. Arcadia operates from different sites in Westland and De Kwakel and has a long track record in Chrysanthemum production. It is known for its commitment to quality for each stage of production from rooted cutting to finished product. In 2016, Arcadia scooped up a gold in the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards.

On his appointment as Decorum Board member Eikelenboom said: “Arcadia is already involved in several Decorum working groups. I am looking forward to offering my perspective, to support the goals of Decorum and build an even stronger Decorum brand.”

Next to Eikelenboom other Decorum Board members include lily grower Jaap Moerman (Moerman Lilium), calla and Caladium growre Jochem Vreugdenhil (Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants), houseplant grower John Grootscholten (PlantWorld), Eric Jansen (Future Flowers) and Chrysanthemum grower  Hans van Leeuwen (Lionplant).
