Structures, Committees, Charter & Regulations

AIPH was established in Switzerland in 1948

In 2013, AIPH was incorporated in Brussels as an international non-profit association.

General Meeting


Structural decisions regarding AIPH are made at the General Meeting (GM) to which all members are invited. Elections and nominations for the President and Vice-President of AIPH, as well as for Committees Chairs and regional representatives all take place at the GM. There are up to two GMs a year.

Board


The Board is formed by the President, the two Vice-Presidents, the chairs of each Committee, and representatives of the following member regions:

  1. The United Kingdom (Representative), Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Sweden
  2. The Netherlands (Representative), Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland
  3. Hungary (Representative), Czech Republic, Poland, Greece
  4. Canada, USA, Mexico

  7. P. R. China (Representative), Chinese Taipei, Japan (Representative), Rep. Korea

The Executive Committee


The Executive Committee is formed by the President, the Secretary General, and Vice-Presidents who are responsible for the day to day management of AIPH.

Strategic Plan 2020-2023


The 2020-2023 Strategic Plan focuses on the following key outcomes:

  1. Stimulate increased demand for ornamental trees, plants and flowers worldwide
  2. Protect and promote the interests of the industry
  3. Be an international hub for industry information and knowledge exchange
  4. Lead best practice in ornamentals production
  5. Strengthen national grower associations

The Strategic Plan identifies objectives and activities and sets Key Performance Indicators for monitoring progress.
