Landgard Order Days will be introduced at IPM Essen 2025

IPM Essen and Landgard have announced a partnership. In a joint announcement made this week, Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen, and Dirk Bader, Chairman of Landgard eG, have decided to organise a plant order event at the IPM ESSEN horticultural trade show from January 28 to 31, 2025.

The joint statement reads that “the collaboration between IPM Essen and Landgard presents a unique opportunity for the green trade. It will offer a one-stop platform for exhibitors and participants to explore new products and place orders efficiently. This integration fosters synergies that will enhance the international trade in plants and flowers, enabling them to amplify their marketing efforts and reach a broader audience at the world’s premier trade fair.”

Bader said: “Last year’s Order Days in Oberhausen was a resounding success, with 150 suppliers offering a staggering 3,000 different plants, including numerous new products. The goods hailed from neighbouring countries such as the Netherlands, Italy, and Denmark, all of which are key exhibitors and visitor nations at IPM ESSEN. This year’s event promises to be even more remarkable with our participation.”

Kuhrt added, “Just three months after this year’s fair, a staggering 80 per cent of the space at IPM ESSEN 2025 has already been booked, with 70 per cent of the exhibitors choosing to showcase at the world’s leading trade fair for horticulture. This high demand reaffirms the event’s popularity and success. Now, we’re instilling confidence in the potential of Landgard’s trade fair presentation to help expand your business.”
