ANGERS, France: France’s Salon du Végétal has rescheduled its upcoming trade show due to the Covid-19 crisis and subsequent travel bans.
Originally set to take place from 8-10 September 2020, France’s iconic trade show has confirmed it rescheduled show dates: 10-11 February 2021. Meanwhile, event organiser Destination Angers officially switched from a 3-day event to a two-day format.
Replacing the physical trade show in September will be an online event, held from 14-15 September and hosted by Destination Angers and former Salon du Végétal organiser, BHR (the Regional Horticultural Office).
The online conference will invite keynote speakers to exchange ideas and research findings, analyse the current market situation and look ahead to the new normal. For the occasion, Salon du Végétal will launch its new B2B platform which will allow growers and traders to discover the latest breeding breakthroughs and talk market, marketing programmes and trends online.
