Landscape Istanbul Fair 2024 (LIF 2024) proudly announces partnership with IFLA’s ‘Code Red for Earth’ themed world landscape congress

Landscape Istanbul Fair 2024 (LIF 2024), Turkey’s premier horticultural trade show, has signed a strategic partnership with the 60th world congress of the International Federation of Landscape Architecture (IFLA), which will happen in Istanbul between 4-6 September 2024.

LIF 2024 recommends green professionals to participate in what it calls “a significant event taking place in Turkiye, which will enable you to connect with professionals worldwide and provide positive contributions to you and your business.”

The annual Congress, will host approximately 1500 – 2000 IFLA members and professionals from 80 different countries on different continents including from Africa, America, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe. In 2023, the IFLA World Congress was held jointly in Kenya and Sweden with over 1000 professionals participating in person.

The line up of keynote speakers consists of internationally renowned and influential figures who have led and inspired significant achievements in the landscaping industry.

Special sessions featuring international institutions and organisations, ranging from UN agencies to environmental organisations and industry partners, are a scheduled part of the congress programme.

During the congress, product and services can be showcased in the exhibition areas, providing huge opportunities for establishing new trade connections.

In 2019, sponsors of the Landscape Architects Congress of Europe, organised by the Chamber of Landscape Architects in Antalya, effectively marketed their products and successfully established collaborations with potential clients from many different countries. The IFLA World Congress will also create an environment to facilitate commercial partnerships between sponsor companies and congress participants.

This event will be held in Istanbul between 4-6 September, at the Istanbul Congress Center located in the elegant central area of the city, Taksim-Nişantaşı.

Thanks to this central location, transportation can be easily accessed via various options such as taxis, metro and metrobus. Additionally, the Congress Center has a two-story parking lot with a capacity of 850 vehicles.

Turkish Airlines is the Official Airline of the IFLA World Congress offering exclusive discounts to registered delegates when using the exclusive congress registration code. Istanbul’s strategic location bridging Europe and Asia, combined with Turkish Airlines’ extensive flight network and affordable travel costs, offer a significant advantage.

The execution and management of the IFLA World Congress is the sole responsibility of the Chamber of Landscape Architects. For all inquiries, registrations, questions and feedback regarding the congress, please contact the relevant communication address at the Chamber of Landscape Architects.
