Preparations for Royal FloraHolland’s Seasonal Trade Fair are well underway

AALSMEER, Netherlands: Preparations are underway for the Royal FloraHolland Spring Fair, also known as SeasonalTrade Fair. The event has moved to FloraHolland’s auction headquarters in Aalsmeer and will take place April 3-4, 2019.

A convenient location to both Aalsmeer, Westland and Rijnsburg wholesalers and their customers from abroad, FloraHolland Aalsmeer offers the same exhibition space used for FloraHolland’s leading trade fair in November and easy access with its proximity to Amsterdam Schiphol international airport.

Previously held in Naaldwijk, the auction’s Spring Fair includes a Florist Event with leading florists and designers taking part. Pim van den Akker, one of the global stars of flower design, is among the experts giving demonstrations.

The two-day trade event ranks amongst the best places to do business in the floriculture sector. Covering an area of over 10,000m2, the FloraHolland Seasonal Fair Naaldwijk will gather more than 400 exhibitors showcasing an extensive range of green and flowering houseplants, garden, bedding and patio plants and cut flowers.

Occupying pride of place will be a Novelty Showcase featuring the latest breeding breakthroughs and retailing concepts, including the 2019 Glass Tulip Award winners.

In addition to the Spring Fair the next big Royal FloraHolland event will be the Royal FloraHolland Trade Fair which will take place in Aalsmeer, November 7-9, 2018.
