Harrell’s announces 2022 Sales Professionals of the Year

James Jensen.

Employee-owned Harrell’s, LLC, is pleased to announce James Jensen of Turf South Central and Dave Nowakowski of Turf Florida as 2022 Sales Professionals of the year. The Sales Professional of the Year (SPOTY) is the most prestigious award a territory manager can achieve at Harrell’s.

In addition to performance, the ten nominees were evaluated on more than fourteen leadership areas within the company’s core values – to serve, honor and glorify god, to take care of people and to grow a financially sound and stable Company; and the company’s four pillars – humility, gratitude, intentionality and accountability.

Dave Nowakowski.

Dave Nowakowski has been with Harrell’s for eight years, managing his customers with a philosophy of care and connection. The customers in Dave’s territory trust him not only as a resource but as a friend, as he constantly exemplifies Harrell’s core values and four pillars in the tricky landscape market.

Though the landscape market is constantly changing, Dave still managed to have one of his best years ever this year, which he attributes in no small part to his great customer-base and the strong relationships they have been able to foster over the years. Dave was nominated for the award this year by Clay Breazeale, Turf Florida.

“Dave Exemplifies many of our core values. He cares deeply for his customers and their success, he is a trusted resource for them. Dave operates in a quiet manor, but, if you spend some time with him, his passion for the industry, Harrell’s and success is very evident,” says Clay Breazeale, Turf Florida. “While I get to see this in person, you can see this through his territory growth year after year.”

James Jensen has been a member of the Turf South Central team and Harrell’s for 8 years, with this being his third nomination for the SPOTY award. James proves his eligibility for the award year after year not only through sales, but through building strong and reliable relationships with his 70 accounts and building their agronomic plans/budgets. James works hard to keep his customers satisfied with the best service possible, and to provide sales so that the drivers in his territory stay busy with delivery and product turnover. James was nominated for the award this year by JJ Jansen, Turf South Central

“He has proven to be a leader of this region and has helped other sales reps, including new reps, with recommendations or advice and provided them with his own ways that he takes care of customers and others around him. He is always willing to help those working in his local branch to best take care of his customers,” says JJ Jansen, Turf South Central. “James works hard and is willing to put in the hours to take care of his customers.”

Congratulations are also extended to eight additional nominees for the award: Bryan Scroggins – Turf Coastal Plains, Chad Lamantia – Turf Mid-Atlantic, Chuck Bramhall – Turf Northeast, Julio Molina – Hort South, Kimberly Rouleau – Turf Midwest, Kyle Creamer – Hort North, Matt Schrader – Turf Southeast, and Sergio Vasquez – Turf West.
