Colombian flowers to adorn country pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

BOGOTA, Colombia: When Colombia’s President Iván Duque will visit the grounds of Expo 2020 Dubai on 5 November, Colombian grown flowers are sure to make him feel at home.

Expo 2020 Dubai, the first Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia – will gather millions of people celebrating technological advances humanity has made under the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’. The Expo will run for six months – from 20 October 2020 until 31 March 2022.

Flowers of Colombia by Asocolflores will be present in Colombia’s country pavilion as of November inviting visitors to participate in roundtable debates and business meetings on the strong positive effects flowers have on emotional health.

Iván Duque, President of Colombia will visit the Expo’s iconic Al Wasi Plaza Dome (the world’s largest 360-degree projection surface) on 5 November 2021. He will then move on to visit Colombia’s country pavilion, adorned with thousands of Colombian grown cut flowers.

Visitors may enjoy the diversity of the Colombian flowers during three days, admiring their beauty and grandeur which will embellish the stand.
