2022 ISU Perennial Trial 2022 now also open for non-members

BONN, Germany:  The International Hardy Plant Union (ISU) is pleased to announce that its Perennial Trials are now also open to non-members.

Under ISU’s Trials excitingly new perennial plants are planted in display beds to be evaluated by a panel of expert judges over a 24-month period. The trials culminate in ISU’s Summer Days when the most garden-worthy perennials are crowned with the coveted ISU Perennial Innovation Award. In 2022, the ISU Summer Days will be held in the Netherlands between 22-28 August.

In an absolute first, non-ISU members can now also submit novelties for judging. Registration is now open. Click here

The corresponding regulations can also be viewed on the website. Plants should be registered no later than 15 May, 2021, and sent in by 30 May.

The  new entrants will be planted in the trial garden of the Koninklijke Vereniging voor Boskoopse Culturen (KVBC) in Houten, where they will be evaluated and awarded by the ISU Trial Commission in August 2022.

Members of the International Hardy Plant Union do not have to pay a participation fee for the novelty registration. They are asked for a donation of 60 € per variety. Non-members will be charged €150 for participation. For more information,  info@isu-perennials.org
