Schoneveld Cyclamen Open Days return for 2022

Comes autumn and Schoneveld breeding prepares itself for its annual Cyclamen trials. This year, the event will be held between 24 October – 11 November 2022 at the company’s greenhouses in Wilp, Netherlands.

The Schoneveld Cyclamen Open Days 2022 give industry professionals a comprehensive overview of all what is happening within the Cyclamen industry.  As such it is no surprise that the focus will be on cold-tolerant crops.

The Dutch breeding company developed Cyclamen that perform very well in colder and darker circumstances. These require low energy input and still deliver excellent quality. Super Serie Mini Winter, Picasso, Macro and Vintro are ready to amaze visitors.

Debuting at this year’s event is Super Serie Fusion, a large-flowered Cyclamen in extraordinary colours. Its overflowing pattern of different colours makes Fusion a special attraction. The series starts with Fusion Large Neon Pink, which finds itself in a pre commercial stage with a limited number of samples available.

Naturally, Super Serie Leopardo is also on display. This early-flowering Cyclamen has large blooms and is bred to have good heat tolerance, making it ideal for production in warmer climates.

The Cyclamen event includes a number of side by side trials while the technical manager will be at hand to provide information on various sowing and cultivation techniques as well as pest and disease control. The show also offers insights into product-market combinations and retail concepts.
