ENKHUIZEN, Netherlands: Syngenta Flowers, Florensis and PanAmerican Seed today announced they will not exhibit at the IPM Essen show in 2022.
The official statement reads, “In light of the continued concern surrounding COVID-19, the ongoing risk for our customers and employees and the responsibility that we see as our duty to help stop the spread of the virus, we have decided not to take part in IPM 2022.
“The rising number of Covid-19 infections and the constantly changing strict international regulations and restrictions, has persuaded us not to expose our customers and staff to the increased risks which participation would automatically bring.
“Just like in 2021 we had to take the decision not to take part in IPM. Hoping for better times, we look forward to the prospect of participating again in 2023.”
Show organiser Messe Essen also received cancellation notices from the UK with David Austin, Whetman, Fairweathers, Guernsey Clematis Ltd all pulling out of IPM Essen.
