Berg RoseS acquires B&G de Mooij’s Primera Fashion Flowers line of waxed roses

PIJNACKER-NOOTDORP, the Netherlands: Dutch rose farm Berg RoseS today announced it has acquired B&G de Mooij’s Primera Fashion Flowers of waxed roses.

Hitting horticultural headlines is Berg RoseS. After revealing its commercial partnership with Van der Drift Roses, the company has now announced it has taken over B&G de Mooij’s line of waxed roses. Effective immediately, the wax dipped flowers will be sold both under the Berg RoseS and Primera Fashion Flower brand.

The preserved Avalanche+ roses, available in stem lengths 60-70cms, can be ordered via an online ordering system that enables customers to order in real-time from any desktop, tablet or smartphone 24/7. Enhanced availability status give customers an indication of stock availability

The announcement is perfectly timed as autumn and winter are the perfect selling seasons for waxed flowers which are known for echoing an atmosphere of coziness, warmth and a tiny little bit of glitter.

The production of the waxed flowers remains in hands of TMC productions from Rijnsburg, which is a seasoned ‘flower waxer’. Floral wholesaler B&G de Mooij will continue to sell products under the Primera Fashion Flowers brand covering waxed and silk roses.

For many decades, the Van den Berg name has been synonymous with quality and reliability. Van den Berg Roses has its headquarters in Delfgauw, the Netherlands but also owns rose farms in Kunming (China) and Naivasha (Kenya). Together they comprise an area of 160 ha.  The company sells its large-headed roses under the Berg RoseS brand.
