Selecta One announces colourful presence at Trade Fair Aalsmeer

STUTTGART, Germany: Plant breeder and propagator Selecta One from Germany is again taking the opportunity to present excitingly new flowers and bedding plants and well-proven varieties at the forthcoming Trade Fair Aalsmeer (3-5 November 2021).

Among the stars of the company’s booth 22.4 is Gypsophila Grandtastic the newest big bloom gypsophila in the market. Sturdy stems bear pure white flowers with an exceptionally long shelf life. Grandtastic adds volume, texture and whimsey in mixed bouquets and flower arrangements.

In dianthus barbatus, Selecta’s Kiwi collection opens a whole new universe inspiring wholesalers, florists and end consumers alike. Kiwi Mellow, Kiwi Boom, Kiwi Cherry, and Kiwi Chocolate have no petals, but fluffy green hairs instead. Their flower shape come in different sizes and colours.

Another highlight in Selecta One’s stand will be the company’s Drums® Verbena range. This series has delighted growers since its official launch. Demand for this new plant has exceeded expectations. The series meets all the expectations of a modern product thanks to its ease of production – no pinching and virtually no inhibitors are required. Early-blooming and compact, highly productive per unit of land, strong POS presence, excellent flowering continuity in the home – the Drums® varieties are redefining Verbenas. The Drums series currently includes seven varieties and is now being expanded to include Drums® Red White – a high-contrast addition to the two-tone varieties. The series is backed up by an attention-grabbing marketing concept with the slogan, “Drums® – take the lead!”.

At Trade Fair Aalsmeer, Selecta One will update show goers about the newest members within the  SKY petunia family.  Latest Sky additions include red Glowing Sky, CarmineSky, PinkSky and CherrySky.
