New varieties in Brandkamp’s Pelargonium Solfaro series

Anholt, Germany: For the coming bedding plant season 2022/2023, further innovations of the constantly growing pelargonium line ‘Solfaro’ will complete and enrich the range. This year the focus is on new zonal varieties.

White colour is always tricky in Pelargoniums. Solfaro Porto is always snow-white and is introduced new in the market. The flowers stand above dark foliage, creating an attractive contrast. The variety grows compactly and is therefore suitable for packs and smaller pots.

Solfaro Moura

Also relatively compact is Solfaro Moura, a wine-red variety’. The flowers show good luminosity and, in addition to being used as a group, are certainly well suited for combinations with white or yellow flowering plants.

Solfaro Setubal is white with red eyes. This high-contrast flower with fresh charm is ideal for the widespread motley plantings with various other bedding plants, which is particularly popular with young buyers. The variety has good vigour to survive with strong partners like petunias.

A true perennial mass bloomer is Solfaro Lisboa. The numerous pink candy-eye flowers exude a pure ‘summer feeling’.

Solfaro Belmonte

Bright orange and faster growing are Solfaro Belmonte. It is ideal for bed planting and bigger pots. Its colourful balls of flowers are sure to draw attention.
