German plant breeder and propagator Brandkamp joins Fleuroselect

ANHOLT, Germany: Fleuroselect, the international organisation which represents breeders and producers of the starting material for pot and bedding plants, both seed and cuttings, is delighted to welcome Brandkamp as its newest member.

Founded in 1960 by Hubert Brandkamp, Brandkamp is a German chrysanthemum breeder and young plant supplier with 10ha of mother plant facilities in Kenya and Uganda. A quintessential family business, Brandkamp sells in all European countries and is also established in the Arabian and Asian regions.

Brandkamp specialises in ornamentals such as Fuchsia, Lantana, Petunia, Verbena and Chrysanthemum. A wholly owned, in-vitro laboratory tests all elite material used to maintain the mother plant stocks, ensuring plant health and genetic stability.
