2021 GreenTech Live & Online show has Happy Food, Happy Flowers theme

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands: The theme of GreenTech Live & Online, from 28 – 30 September at the RAI Amsterdam, will be ‘Happy Food Healthy Flowers’. This theme is central in the programming during the exhibition, where more than 50 knowledge sessions can be followed in 2 theatres. In The Xpert Theatre the focus is on more in-depth product and cultivation-oriented topics and tips and tricks, in The Vision Stage more macro-economic themes and trends are discussed. In addition, the sessions can also be followed online.

With the theme ‘Happy Food Healthy Flowers’ GreenTech Live & Online contributes to the global health development that has accelerated in a trend as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic. Many disruptive shifts are taking place in the sector, the chain is changing and new business opportunities are emerging. With the theme ‘Happy Food Healthy Flowers’ horticulture professionals, policy makers, investors and stakeholders from cross-over industries will be connected.

Experts will share their knowledge on cultivation challenges, solutions and innovations. Data-driven horticulture and artificial intelligence, crop optimization and water- and energy efficiency will be discussed among other topics at The Xpert Theatre. At The Vision Stage various stakeholders will offer possible solutions to the audience on major themes and trends that affects the whole world. For example topics like Feeding & Greening the cities, sustainability, human capital challenges and the overall health & wellbeing trend.

GreenTech received already a lot of support from the industry for the physically and online show. Among others BOAL Systemen, Jiffy Products International, Bom Greenhouses, Kubo Greenhouse Projects, Viscon Group, Priva, BASF Nunhems, Van Iperen, Montel, Van der Valk Horti Systems, Fluence by Osram and the Thrace Group will be exhibiting at the show.

Every year GreenTech is the platform where the industry exhibits its innovations. Despite this disruptive year, GreenTech exhibitors have not lost their focus on innovating. The number of entries is still rising. Every entry will be assessed by a panel of expert judges. The winners in the categories ‘Innovation’ and ‘Concept’ will be announced during the official opening of GreenTech Live & Online, on Tuesday 28 September.

Physical and online visitors can register free of charge on the GreenTech website. After 21 September online visitors pay the registration fee of €19.99 including VAT per person.

GreenTech Live & Online will be held from Tuesday 28 – Thursday 30 September 2021. GreenTech Amsterdam, in full physical format, from Tuesday 14 – Thursday 16 June 2022. The exhibition is a global meeting place for all horticultural technology professionals with the focus on the early stages of the horticultural chain and the current issues growers face.
