Uni-Troll Europe inks deal with TPS Rental Systems to work together

TOMMERUP, Denmark: Uni-Troll Europe (UTE), a Danish based company known for its universal trolley solution that can be used at production sites, in greenshouses and on the retail floor, and TPS Rental Systems have signed an agreement for co-operation.

TPS is a well-established international supplier of logistics solutions based on IBC containers that are rented primarily to the food industry. TPS has now entered into an agreement with UTE on an exclusive basis and will handle all rental and sale of the three models of shelving trolleys at Uni-Troll; UT-M2, UT-M3 and UT-M4 with a wide range of shelves and accessories.

Headquartered in Birmingham, United Kingdom, TPS has Mr. Rob Pearce as chief executive and Michael Gotfredsen as COO based in Emsbüren, Germany. Mr Gotfredsen will be directly responsible for the implementation supported by the four product developers behind UTE:  Mr Erling K. Mogensen R&D Manager, Mr Steen Juul Thomsen, Concept & Automation Manager, Mr Carsten Hedelund, CFO and Mr Søren Bøgede Andersen, CEO.

The shareholder group behind TPS HOLDING II A/S primarily consists of Danish companies, and since 2018 Kirk Kapital A/S has been one of the largest. The shareholder group is financially strong and TPS will preferably rent out the shelving trolleys at a monthly fixed rate.

Commenting on the new partnership Uni-Troll boss Bøgede Andersen says, “We are delighted to have found the right industrial partner in TPS, who we know can handle the big task of getting Unit-Troll’s patented solutions introduced to the market.” He adds, “TPS has a well-established organisation with employees and experience which will give customers confidence that their future trolley solutions, rental and logistics needs can be fulfilled.”
