Royal Van Zanten’s Novelties Stand Out

RIJSENHOUT, the Netherlands: During FlowerTrials 2019, the largest event on pot and bedding plant genetics, Royal Van Zanten showed its new varieties and plant concepts to international visitors. 3 novelties stood out:

Charmelita

A new addition to its pot alstroemeria assortment: Charmelita! The plants in this interesting series display the same distinctive flowers as the cut flowers of its older sister Charmelia. Charmelitas are genetically compact and remarkable because of their profusion of flowers and lasting quality. This variety develops into robust, compact plants for trouble-free transport. Available in two colours.

Outstanding Pot Chrysanthemums

Sunset Time, Tempo Time, Alpine Time … Royal Van Zanten is a leading company specialized in the breeding of pot chrysanthemums. During the FlowerTrials®,  it introduced three new plants from its assortment. These are single-flowered varieties, each featuring a stunning flower colour and uniform habit. They also have a relatively short cultivation period and demonstrate an excellent shelf life throughout the supply chain.

Blomski ®

The beautiful, round decorative bulb Chrysanthemum has appealling large flower. Available in two colors: white and yellow. Blomsky is very suitable for late outdoor cultivation before 1 November flowering. Blomski varieties are flexible and easy to transport. Also suitable for cultivation under warmer conditions.
