UTRECHT, Netherlands: Flowerboxx, a software platform that helps florists tap into their online customer base and run a more efficient and profitable business, has scooped the Dutch Computable Award in the  SME category. The chairman of the jury presented the coveted award during a glittering award ceremony in Utrecht’s Jaarbeurs convention centre on 3 November.

Talking about digital transformation is easy but it is still difficult for companies to implement. And florists are no exception. Pieter Hufen of software platform Grexx and Mark Kolster, CEO of floristry chain Naturals (running six flower shops in the Rotterdam The Hague area) founded Flowerboxx a couple of years ago combining a deep understanding of today’s floristry business and advanced software technology.

Florists who are frustrated with the difficulty and expense of creating a webshop can use Flowerboxx to build a stronger online presence and better manage targeted marketing campaign. The award-winning software platform also supports florists in tackling day to day tasks to better centralise and process orders and streamline purchasing activities.

In terms of subscription models, Flowerboxx offers six different packages (including a budget coach  and eco certification tool) to use individually or to run in conjunction with eachother.

Now in their 16th year, the Dutch Computable Awards recognise excellence in digitising knowledge and company processes.
