Florist North America changes name into HilverdaFlorist North America

DE KWAKEL, Netherlands: Netherlands-based cut flower (gerbera, carnation, alstroemeria, and limonium) and potted plant (Inticancha alstroemerias, Glamour Helleborus, Garvinea gerberas, Mooodz echinacea) breeder HilverdaFlorist announces that its subsidiary company Florist North America has changed its name into HilverdaFlorist North America.

The name change follows the 2019 merger and reorganisation of the parent company HilverdaFlorist. It marks the completion of the rebranding of Florist North America to reinforce its mission of empowering the North American ornamentals growers by offering them a complete range of gerberas, carnations, echinaceas, alstroemerias, salvias and hellebores. HilverdaFlorist North America -through partnerships with Orchard Park Growers  in St Catherines, Ontario and Meadowlands Horticultural Inc. in Burnaby (BC) supplies rooted plant material directly to Canadian growers.

The headquarters of HilverdaFlorist are in De Kwakel, Netherlands. Other companies that are part of the HilverdaFlorist group include wholly-owned HilverdaFlorist Colombia (Colombia), wholly-owned Murara Plants (Kenya), and a joint venture with India-based KF Bioplants.
