Emova Group announces Anne Fege’s departure as CEO

Paris, France: It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that the French florist chain Emova announces Anne Fège’s departure as CEO.

Since 2013, Anne has played a critical role in the development of the Emova Group. Bruno Blaser, Emova’s chairman of the group’s Board of Directors said the company owes Fege a big thank-you for five years of dedicated service and wishes her the best of luck for the future.

Fège’s, was known for her ‘iron hand in a velvet glove’ when reorganizing the company but always kept the fragile balance between profit and humanity. She connected with Emova’s florists as valued stakeholders.

Fege said that her decision to leave the company  is due to long travel commitments. On daily basis she traveled between Emova’s headquarters in Paris and her hometown La Ciotat, a 6-hour commute time.

Emova Group S.A. (formerly known as Groupe Monceau Fleurs S.A.) is one of two biggest florist chains in France and runs 354 retail outlets.  Emova has developed several concept stores such as Happy and Rapid’Flore which exist next to the more traditional Monceau flower shops.
