He was part of the founding team of TEDx Paris and, during his time in the French capital, was a lecturer at Sciences Po’s Paris, a prestigious French institution for higher learning.
Debbie Bartlett
Debbie Bartlett is a Chartered Landscape Architect (Management Division), Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Ecology and Environmental Management and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her current role is as Professor of Environmental Conservation at the University of Greenwich, and she has over 35 years’ experience combining local government, consultancy, teaching, and research. She is particularly interested in landscape scale management, including the social and economic factors affecting resilience to environmental/climate change.
Prof. David Simon
Prof. David Simon is Professor of Development Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London, and was Director of Mistra Urban Futures from 2014 to 2019. Prof. Simon undertakes a full range of research, teaching and administration, as well as external societal engagement and impact work including expert advisory and consultancy activities. His research encompasses principally the interface between development and the environment, in the context of sustainability and global environmental/climate change, with particular reference to urban, peri-urban and regional change. He is author of ‘Sustainable Human Settlements within the Global Urban Agenda’ that was launched to coincide with the start of COP 28 in Dubai.
