Dutch-based plant breeder Evanthia announces the appointment of Henk Jacobs as the company’s new general director, effective January 2024.
Jacobs will reinforce Evanthia’s Board of Directors, consisting of Nico Grootendorst (director and owner, Dion Kaman (Chief Financial Officer) and Louis Kester (commercial director).
As general director, Jacobs will be responsible for the daily business operations and leading the Board of Directors and Evanthia’s management team. He will oversee the company’s main strategies, to ensure Evanthia is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives.
Jacobs brings almost 40 years of experience across commercial and senior leadership roles within the floriculture industry.
