Certis Belchim Trial Field Days attracts 2,000 visitors

Certis Belchim opened its trial stations to visitors from around the globe again this summer for its popular Trial Field Days. Customers could view the trial work that the company has undertaken over the past year and share technical knowledge from its experts on various crops and products.

Over two weeks at Londerzeel in Belgium, the company welcomed around 1,850 visitors, including wholesalers, distributors, advisors and contractors, to its 10.5 ha site. Guests from across the globe saw the results from 84 trials conducted on 39 different crops, including potatoes, maize, cereals, vegetables, fruit, vines and ornamentals.

A few weeks later, the team at the Fronton trials station in the south of France received over 350 visitors from across Europe and North Africa to its 24 hectares of experimentation. Trials here involved 25 crops, including vines, arboriculture, vegetables, ornamentals and non-agricultural crops.

At both venues, the technical teams discussed and shared the latest findings and product information for the benefit of end users. Laboratory screening of products and diseases conducted alongside the trials enhances technical understanding of the products. It contributes to creating practical crop protection solutions, supporting the company’s long-term mission: ‘to develop and deliver sustainable and innovative crop protection solutions driven by the best technical advice and market understanding’.

The opportunity was also taken at the events to promote company values such as collaboration, ambition, creativity, integrity and passion that contribute to the corporate vision: ‘to enable sustainable agriculture by working with you’.
