The organising committee has extended the deadline for submission of Abstracts to February 28, 2015.  This early submission of abstracts will allow all manuscripts to be ready on-line for the conference so please get your abstracts  in now. This combined  Conference is a forum for researchers from around the globe to present current research on New Ornamental Crops for world markets and the latest research on Proteaceous species and related plants.

Participants interested in either an oral or a poster presentation are invited to submit an abstract on one of the key themes for the conference without delay. These include innovations and new technologies associated with breeding, propagation, production and postharvest management of Proteaceae and new ornamental crops. In addition there will be discussions on the commercialisation of new varieties, marketing and market trends, and the state of the industry.

The 4-day scientific program features  two days of plenary and separate concurrent sessions, one focussed on Proteaceae and related plants, the other on new ornamental crops,  followed by two days of technical field visits.

Registration, key dates and how to submit an abstract can be found via http://www.ishs.org/symposium/422
