Returning for its third AIPH-approved edition, IHK 2026 strengthens its role as a global platform for horticultural exchange, innovation, and industry connection.
International Horticulture Goyang Korea 2026 (IHK 2026) will return to Ilsan Lake Park from 24 April to 10 May 2026, building on its growing international role within the global horticultural calendar.
With three consecutive years of AIPH approval, the exhibition continues to strengthen its position as a recognised platform for industry exchange, public engagement, and international collaboration.
Connecting Horticulture Across Time
Under the theme “Flowers Tint the Time”, IHK 2026 explores the role of flowers across the past, present, and future, connecting cultural heritage with innovation. Visitors are invited into an immersive environment where horticulture is experienced not only as display, but as a living, evolving part of everyday life.
A Platform For Global Industry Exchange
A central focus of the 2026 edition is the continued development of its role as a platform for international industry exchange. Expanded B2B programming, including matchmaking services, field-based tours, and networking opportunities, will bring together growers, buyers, and industry stakeholders. The indoor business centre remains at the heart of this activity, reinforcing the exhibition’s function as a space for meaningful commercial engagement.
From Display To Participation
Alongside its trade ambitions, IHK 2026 is also evolving its public-facing programme. Moving beyond traditional display formats, the exhibition introduces more interactive and participatory experiences, from hands-on workshops to educational activities that deepen visitors’ understanding of horticulture and its broader role in society.
A City Shaped By Floriculture
The exhibition also reflects the broader ambitions of its host city. Goyang, designated as Korea’s first Floriculture Industry Special Zone, which integrates production, distribution, and tourism into a single ecosystem. Through IHK 2026, this integrated approach is further strengthened, supporting both economic development and the long-term positioning of horticulture within urban life.
A Comprehensive Industry Showcase
Across the event, a wide spectrum of the horticultural sector will be represented, including cut flowers, potted plants, bonsai, succulents, garden tools, floristry, and emerging technologies. This breadth underlines the exhibition’s role as a comprehensive meeting point for the industry.
Organised by the Goyang International Expo Foundation (GIEF), an AIPH Affiliate Member, the exhibition reflects the organisation’s active role in advancing international horticultural exchange through AIPH-approved events.
Now in its third year of AIPH approval, IHK2026 is steadily refining its identity. The direction is clear: less a floral showcase alone, and more a functioning platform where business, innovation, and public engagement meet.
