GREEN IS LIFE 2025: Building on Poland’s green legacy

With a long tradition of innovation and international exchange, the AIPH-approved GREEN IS LIFE trade fair returns to Warsaw this September — energised with new momentum and calling the industry to “Join the green avant-garde!

The 32nd edition of the GREEN IS LIFE international trade fair will take place in Warsaw, Poland, from 4–6 September 2025, bringing together growers, breeders, landscapers, and urban greening professionals to share solutions for a greener future.

The event is officially approved by AIPH, reflecting its growing international significance and commitment to advancing sustainable horticulture worldwide.

This year’s edition sees a strong rise in international participation, with 27.5% more foreign exhibitors than last year, representing the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Belgium, France and—making their debut—Ukraine. Professionals from Uzbekistan will also attend, and a dedicated trade mission of Italian ornamental plant producers will explore opportunities in the Polish market.

Industry and city leaders exchange knowledge at GREEN IS LIFE, an AIPH-approved event advancing international collaboration for greener, healthier cities.

A central feature of the programme is the Green City Conference, which addresses urban greening strategies, invasive plant management, and the implementation of the 3-30-300 principle in city planning. This aligns closely with the mission of the AIPH Green City initiative, which champions the power of plants in delivering healthier, more resilient urban environments.

“GREEN IS LIFE creates a cohesive green system that combines theory with practice and translates knowledge into action,” says Joanna Filipczak, fair director and president of the Agencja Promocji Zieleni.

With its blend of plants, people, and ideas, GREEN IS LIFE continues to strengthen its role as an international platform for the horticultural industry, addressing challenges such as climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable urban development.
