Chris Beytes to MC at AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards 2016

Chris Beytes Article WebChris Beytes, Editor of GrowerTalks and Green Profit magazine, is to be the master of ceremonies at the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards 2016.

Celebrating the world’s best ornamentals growers, the Awards Gala Dinner takes place on Thursday, 28 January 2016, during IPM Essen, Germany – held in partnership with Headline Sponsor, FloraHolland and Founding Partner, FloraCulture International (FCI).

Chris is Editor at Ball Publishing, based in Chicago, Illinois, as well as being a contributing editor of FCI. He may be best known globally as the author of the weekly news and commentary e-mail Acres Online, which reaches almost 25,000 floriculture professionals around the world. He has 30 years’ experience in the floriculture industry, including 20 years with Ball Publishing. He holds a journalism degree from the University of Florida and a minor in ornamental horticulture, and for nine years ran his own wholesale greenhouse business in central Florida. Chris travels extensively, reporting on the latest in greenhouse and garden centre trends, innovations and ideas.

Chris will present throughout the Awards which commence at 6pm with a drinks reception followed by a four course dinner. The highlight of the evening is of course the Awards ceremony topped off with an evening of live entertainment and international networking.Early bird tickets for the Gala Dinner of the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards 2016 are available until 11 December 2015.
