AIPH Grants Approval to International Horticultural Trade Show IPM Essen
The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) is pleased to announce it has granted trade show (D) category approval to IPM ESSEN 2020 which takes place from Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st January. This strengthens an existing partnership between AIPH and IPM ESSEN and aims to provide even more opportunities for the global horticulture industry.
IPM Essen is a four-day international plant fair held annually at Messe Essen in Germany during January. It is a world-leading horticultural trade show which focuses on solutions and innovations for the green sector. In 2019, 1,551 exhibitors from 46 countries participated in the trade show which received 53,000 visitors.
Remarking on IPM ESSEN gaining the approval of AIPH, Mr Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO Messe Essen, said: “We are very pleased to receive certification by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), and to continue intensifying this trusting cooperation. Planning the next IPM ESSEN, the world’s leading trade fair for horticulture, is underway including the presentation of the International Grower of the Year Awards 2020. This prestigious industry event promotes best practice in ornamentals production and gives global recognition to the world’s best ornamentals growers. The AIPH International Grower of the Year 2020 awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 28th January in Hall Essen, Congress Centre East.
