For Dutch and German flower and plant professionals
and horticultural suppliers who want to grow their
business with Turkish growers
Zoom | 09-11th March 2021 | 09:00am - 18:00pm (CET)
SECURE YOUR PLACETurkish trade missions and Turkey’s premier horticultural trade show The Flower and Plant Show have played a pivotal role in expanding horticultural businesses to connect with the Turkish markets. But face-to-face missions and physical trade exhibitions have been postponed or cancelled altogether. That is why the Turkish Ornamental Plants and Products Exporters Association – also known as Turkish Flowers – is taking trade missions virtual.
I am delighted to lead the first virtual trade mission and 1-on-1 meetings with representatives of 10 of Turkey’s leading flower and plant growers/exporters. Our goal is to remind our key customers that Turkey remains a strategic and dedicated exporter of flowers and plants to Dutch and German consumers, who trust Turkish flowers and plants as a quality and sustainable choice.
I wish you productive, flowerfull meetings.”
ISMAEL YILMAZ, CHAIRMAN, TURKISH FLOWERS

Ultimately, the goal of the 1-on-1 meetings is to help horticultural entrepreneurs generate new sales for their company by exploring the Turkish market and to provide them with market insights.
With the inaugural Turkey-Netherlands-Germany Ornamental Horticulture Virtual Trade Mission, Turkey put itself forward as an horticultural powerhouse with world-class, high-quality, sustainable flowers and plants, a benign climate and good soils, counter-seasonal supply opportunities, a young, skilled and dynamic workforce and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Today, Turkish ornamentals producers export a ‘beautiful bouquet with mixed colours’ including fresh cut flowers, potted plants, bedding plants, trees, shrubs, perennials and bulbs around the world and are seeking to grow this business in the Netherlands and Germany.
The Turkish Ornamental Plants and Products Exporters Association has engaged the services of AIPH and FloraCulture International to identify, screen and arrange meetings with potential partners for each or the trade mission delegates.
The virtual event will take place over three entire days from 9am to 6pm CET. This allows for flexibility when dealing with scheduling and time zone constraints. During the meeting someone from the organisation team will participate in order to facilitate the meeting, making sure everyone joins and ensuring logistics run smoothly. The 1-in-1 meetings will be pre-arranged but strictly private!
For horticultural entrepreneurs from the Netherlands and Germany including breeders, growers, young plant suppliers, exporters, importers, landscapers, plant retailers, wholesalers, florists and horticultural suppliers interested in the ornamental horticulture in Turkey.
