WESTLAND, Netherlands: World Horti Centre, the Dutch knowledge and innovation centre for international horticulture, is delighted to announce that Puck van Holsteijn has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 1 September 2021.
Van Holsteijn will combine her new role as World Horti Centre boss and her job as CEO for a Day scheme HortiHeroes – a future talent initiative for the Dutch horticultural sector – as much as possible.
Van Holsteijn and World Horti Centre are no strangers to one and another and know the sector in and out.
Van Holsteijn succeeds Joep Hendricks, who joined World Horti Centre as CEO in August 2019. While taking up her new role she sees giving World Horti Centre visitors a brand new experience as one of her major challenges.
