Veiling Rhein-Maas confirms attendance at IPM Essen show

Flower and plant auction Veiling Rhein-Maas has confirmed its presence at the IPM Essen show taking place between 28 – 31 January 2025.

IPM Essen is the international trade fair for plants and the world’s leading trade fair for horticulture, showcasing the entire value chain for plants, including production, technology, floristry, garden features and point of sale. Last year, 1,403 exhibitors and over 36,000 visitors attended the event from all over the world.

The Veiling Rhein-Maas stand E21 is in a prime location, in the Hall 1 with the auction’s staff happy to discuss auction-related matters with green professionals. The message number one the auction wants to convey is how easy it is to sell or purchase your flowers and plants through Veiling Rhein-Maas. Using its ‘Auctioning is easier than you think!’ tagline, the auction will highlight its different sales channels.

Today, the beating heart of Veiling Rhein-Maas continues to be an ultra-modern auction room offering room to several hundreds of buyers. A wide range of flowers and plants is auctioned off  on eight clocks: four for cut flowers and four for potted plants.

“With Clock Service and the three digital channels, Buy-on-Distance, Clock Presale and Webshop, a total of four other sales channels are available for customers in addition to on-site auction,’ say Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra, managing directors of Veiling Rhein-Maas.

Another highlight in the stand of Veiling Rhein-Maas includes a presentation of the winners of the inaugural Supplier of the Year and Buyer of the Year awards. The latter recognise entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and achievements in the field of sustainability.

The winners will be revealed at the auction’s upcoming Customer and Supplier Day, taking place on 14 January 2025 in Straelen-Herongen, Germany. During the event attendees will join in by casting their vote to help decide the winner of these awards.
