Today PanAmerican Seed was granted a utility patent for its Beacon™ Impatiens

WEST CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, June 2019: PanAmerican Seed® is thrilled to announce that a United States utility patent was granted for its new Beacon™ Impatiens having a unique form of disease resistance to Impatiens downy mildew. US 10,285,362 covers all 6 colours and two mixes of Beacon Impatiens walleriana. Additional patent applications are pending.
