


The International Hardy Plant Union has announced changes in its executive leadership at the recently held ISU Summer Days event in Angers, France.
The ISU members unanimously elected Jana Holzbecherová from the Czech Republic as the new ISU President. Doris Kampmann from Germany, Kata Kress-Wallace from Austria and Ronald Houtman from the Netherlands join ISU as new Board members.
ISU Chairman Aad Vollebregt from the Netherlands did not stand for re-election after 12 years, nor did Beate Zillmer from Germany and Michel Le Damany from France.
Jonas Bengtsson from Sweden also relinquished his presidency of the ISU Trial Commission and the trial members voted unanimously in favour of Ronald Houtman.
ISU Summer Days is an event that happens every two years. The 2026 and 2028 ISU Summer Days will be held in Lund, Sweden and Hamburg, Germany, respectively.
Meanwhile, ISU members will not sit back. In the early summer of 2025 they will embark on a ISU botanical excursion in the Cévennes, France. The ISU Future Days will take place in Vienna in the autumn of the same year.
