The International Garden Tourism Network announces 20+ top speaker for its 2022 International Garden Tourism Conference

VICTORIA (Vancouver Island), Canada: Next October’s International Garden Tourism Conference (IGTC) already has an impressive line up of 20+ top speakers confirmed with lesss than four months to go.

The outlook is looking bright for the 2022 IGTC conference taking place in Victoria, Canada between 19-22 October 2022, organised by the International Garden Tourism Network (IGTC) and hosted by the Canadian Garden Council in association with the Canadian Nursery and Landscape Association (CNLA), and Destination Greater Victoria.

Currently, 20+top speakers have confirmed their presence, including Mary Pat Matheson from Atlanta Botanical Garden, Giuseppe Sigurtà from Parco Giardino Sigurta, Robert Price, Vallarta Botanical Garden, Richard Deverell, Kew Gardens UK, Felix Loh, Gardens by the Bay Singapore, and Dave Cowen from the Butchart Gardens in Vancouver Island.

The IGTC conference is the ideal networking platform where management of gardens, festivals and horticultural expo’s (director, marketing, horticulture, exhibitions,) online and offline travel platforms and operators, (social) media, tourist boards, and travel agencies can connect and exchange ideas, information and resources with like-minded members anywhere in the world.

Gardens around the world are seeing increasing visitation by tourists, a trend that started already before, and in many cases even accelerated during and after the pandemic. The interest to connect with and enjoy nature and beauty has never been so overwhelming.
