Selecta One to showcase a wide variety of new plants and marketing concepts at IPM Essen 2025

Perfectly in line with IPM Essen’s 2025 tagline ‘Green, Great, Gorgeous!’ Selecta One’s stand D21 in hall 2 of IPM Essen will boast plenty of new products, proven varieties and marketing concepts.

“For many years, we have valued IPM as the most important meeting place for the green sector and as an excellent platform for welcoming national and international guests and strengthening important partnerships in the long term. This personal contact with decision-makers and the opportunity to deepen our business relationships, in particular, make IPM indispensable for us,” explains Klaus Gaumann, director of marketing & product management at Selecta One.

Selecta One’s main launches include Poinsettias, Dianthus, other bedding plants, and balcony plants. In an absolute first, the company will showcase its range of Hydrangeas and the cutting-edge marketing concepts of Planta Morgana, Nature Garden, and Autumn Friends.

Poinsettia

If you are looking for a special eye-catcher, Selecta One recommends the Fantasy Star® variety. The unique colour pattern of the red bracts with large white speckles gives Fantasy Star® an impressively eye-catching appearance. A new variety, Fantasy Star® Orange, is being introduced, which scores with the same production characteristics and a beautiful, intense colour with a distinctive pattern.

Dianthus

The Selecta One carnation range stands for great brands, proven varieties and innovative new launches. Selecta’s range of pot and cut carnations is known for its excellent quality and covers all producer and consumer demands. The LUCKY LIPS® carnation series, introduced at IPM 2024, will be integrated into the Selecta stand for the first time.

Hydrangea and Calibrachoa Bakari

Selecta will present a selection from the Hydrangea programme for the first time at IPM. A newly designed photo point on the stand invites visitors to capture the attractiveness of the new Hydrangea launch in a perfect setting.

Calibrachoa MiniFamous Uno Bakari will be in the prime position on the stand of Selecta One, the German plant breeder, propagator and marketeer of bedding plants, patio/balcony plants, perennials, cut flowers, and vegetable starter plants.

The plant has unique features, including speckles and petals in hues of tangerine and golden yellow, and it is edged in red. Like the famous Pink Kisses pot carnation, Uno Bakari is a branded standalone variety, and its patterned blooms are a standout feature at retail.
