Second edition of the Pro Manager Floriculture Master Class by Jungle Talks

WESTLAND, Netherlands: The second edition of the Pro Manager Floriculture Master Class will be held in the Netherlands from 28 October to 9 November, 2019. This programme will grant young horticultural professionals from around the world an opportunity to learn from renowned industry experts and connect with Dutch horticultural companies.

This Master Class will be presented by Jungle Talks and its lead strategic partners Koppert Biological Systems, Ridder Group, AgroEnergy, Klassmann-Deilmann, Anthura, Wageningen University, Van der Valk Systems, Hortilux Schreder, World Horti Center, Koppert Cress, Logiqs, Chrysal and AAB Consultants.

Speaking about the second edition of the Master Class Jungle Talks’ Ed Smit that registration is open to future floricultural leaders, aged 25-40, from around the world, with a minimum of 5 years experience fulfilling management/board of director roles.

A particularly exciting element of the programme is when participants are invited to create their own vision for the future while highlighting the role of their own company when it comes to meeting long term challenges. The programme includes educational farm tours, meetings and inspirational sessions.

The working language during the course is English and floricultural managers from around the world are invited to register. Application is followed by a selection procedure and by the end of August the organisers will form a group of 12-15 managers. Participation costs 750 Euro. Jungle Talks will host two free webinar sessions providing further details on the programme. These sessions will take place on Thursday August 8. This year’s programme has been designed in response to the interest that the 2018 Pro Manager Floriculture Master Class received. The inaugural course was held in the Netherlands October 28- November 10, 2018 and featured sixteen horticultural entrepreneurs from the USA, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, Kenya, Uganda, Slovenia, Denmark and Vietnam.
