Dutch-based plant breeder and propagator Royal Van Zanten has added a new apricot variety to their succesful Charmelia serie. Charmelia, first introduced in 2014, is the brand name for spray Alstroemerias with branches that bear many small and mainly open flowers.
Following the success of Charmelia® Pink, White, Blanco, and Purplex, Charmelias are now also available in apricot, a warm hue that sits between orange and pink on the colour spectrum.
According to Pantone, the global authority on colour and provider of professional colour standards for the design industries, this autumn and winter warm colours warm en mid-tones will reign supreme. Royal Van Zanten’s latest Charmelia easily matches and combines with this trend.
Just like its differently coloured counterparts, Charmelia Apricot flowers abundantly and has a long vase life of up to 21 days.
As of week 38 Charmelia® Apricot will be available at growers’ alliance Decorum, Floriday, WebShop and Royal FloraHolland’s auction clock.
