Royal Greenhouses at Laeken announce annual spring opening

BRUSSELS, Belgium: Designed by architect Alphonse Balat (Victor Horta’s teacher) the Royal Greenhouses at Laeken, are one of Brussels’ most famous landmarks. Brussels’ tourist office Visit.Brussel today announced the greenhouses will be open to the public from 17th April to 18th May, 2020.

This magic place will delight both aficionados of 19th century architecture and green-fingered flower and plants men. Laeken covers an area of 36ha of greenhouse which are truly impressive thanks to their soaring ironwork and wide range of rare flora.

The Royal Greenhouses are magnificent buildings to discover time and time again. Entrance and exit from the gardens through the gates of the Laeken castle, on Brussel’s  Avenue du Parc Royal. Parking: Avenue de la Dynastie (opposite the castle)
