Preparations are well underway for the 2023 HortiFlora Expo Ethiopia

Less than three months remain until the 8th edition of the HortiFlora Expo will again take place in the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa between 8-10 March 2023.

With the last event held in 2019, it has been nearly four years since the Ethiopian horticulture and floriculture industry had the opportunity to represent itself at home at this international trade fair.

More recently, exhibitors’ interest has grown rapidly, so show organiser HPP hopes to welcome over one hundred companies.

In addition to many Ethiopian-based companies, many international companies are expected to book stand space at the event. This international interest indicates an increasing trust in Ethiopian horticulture and floriculture and reflects the growing rate of investment in the country’s sector.

In a recent interview with FCI magazine, Tewodros Zewdie, president of the Ethiopian Horticulture Producers and Exporters Association (EHPEA) reflected on the past nine years at the country’s sole trade association for horticulture while giving a glimpse into what the future might hold.
