Perlite supplier Soltera and wood-fibre specialist Eifel-Holz earn RHP certification

ESSEN, Germany: Lithuania-based peat and perlite supplier Soltera and wood-fibre specialist Eifel Holz from Belgium have achieved RHP certification.  RHP representatives presented both companies with the coveted certificate at this week’s IPM show in Essen, Germany.

Based on research and checks executed by ECAS, the companies comply with the requirements as determined in the Product Certification Scheme of the RHP quality mark. With the certification of Soltera and Eifel Holz there are now 70 RHP certified companies around the world, 3 of them have horticultural perlite in their product range while five specialise in wood fibre for use in horticultural substrates.

Soltera Soltera is located in Panevėžys (Lithuania) and was founded in 1996. Launching in  2019 was its agro perlite production site ‘Baltic Perlite’. Soltera has modern equipment especially built for perlite production.

Eifel-Holz Eifel-Holz is located in Bütgenbach, in the Belgian part of the Eifel and was founded in 1989. Besides other products the company produces the RHP certified wood fibre in a modern wood fibre factory.
