Naktuinbouw explains its Elite quality standard and authorisation system in three minutes

ROELOFARENDSVEEN, Netherlands: Naktuinbouw, the Dutch inspection service for horticulture uses a three-minute video to explain its Elite quality standard and authorisation system.  

Authorised Naktuinbouw Elite participants comply with extra stringent standards – on top of EU and national legislation – to guarantee high-quality and healthy propagating material. In the video Naktuinbouw explains the system and what it can bring for propagators and their customers.

Naktuinbouw Elite ornamental crops is a quality system that guarantees disease-free propagating material. Laboratory tests determine whether propagating material is free of the prescribed pathogens such as viruses, viroids, bacteria and fungi. After establishing the origin, health, varietal identity and quality, the propagating material is certified. Certification and propagation in a closed pyramid system, provides added value for both propagators and buyers, the certificate offers certainty for healthy and high-quality propagating material.
