For the past 30 years, MPS has been at the forefront of advancing sustainability in the horticulture sector. Through pioneering the use of data-driven insights, MPS has empowered growers worldwide to adopt environmentally conscious practices. The organisation’s renowned MPS-ABC certification and HortiFootprint Calculator have provided the tools needed for the industry to quantify and reduce its ecological footprint, driving meaningful progress towards a greener future.

MPS aims to support the horticultural industry in becoming more sustainable by making the sustainability efforts of horticultural entrepreneurs transparent and measurable. To achieve this, the organisation offers certificates recognising the sustainability efforts of growers as well as providing tools to support sustainable improvements. One such tool is the HortiFootprint Calculator, developed in collaboration with LetsGrow.com.

Looking ahead, MPS remains committed to enhancing its innovative solutions and supporting growers in meeting the growing demand for sustainable production. With a focus on digital transformation and global collaboration, MPS aims to further improve transparency and sustainability benchmarks in horticulture.

This January, MPS will have a strong presence at IPM Essen 2025, the leading trade fair for horticulture. Visit MPS in Hall 1, Stand 1D12, from 28 to 31 January, where the team will be on hand to showcase their latest developments, including the MPS-ABC certification and HortiFootprint Calculator.

Additionally, as the headline sponsor of the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards (IGOTY) 2025, MPS will play a pivotal role in celebrating excellence in horticulture.
