MNP Flowers put a host of new plants in the limelight

ESSEN, Germany: Dutch flower breeder MNP Flowers in collaboration with flower breeder Suntory from Japan will put their extensive portfolio of bedding plants and patio plants – known commercially as Sundaville, Senetti and Granvia – in the limelight at IPM Essen show (Essen, Germany, 28-31 January 2020).

The MNP Flowers stand (Hall 1, C33) will provide industry professionals with a sneak peek at the company’s new genetics, even before their debut at the FlowerTrials in the mid-June.

MNP is introducing the latest addition to its cutting-raised Senetti Pericallis series: Senetti Kobalt Blue (pictured) and Senetti Super Blue.

An absolute newcomer last year and vying for the Fleurostar Award was MNP’s Granvia Gold, a spectacular new strawflower featuring remarkable big flowers with an intense, bright yellow colour and a heart that produces orange pollen at a later stage. The petals have a unique structure of crispy paper-like petals that will attract any shoppers’ attention straight away. Granvia® Gold is much stronger, better branching and earlier flowering than other Xerochrysum varieties on the market. This year, Granvia will also be available in pink: Granvia® Pink Flame

In the renowned Sundaville® series MiMi Pink has been added. The MiMi collection consists of super early flowering and compact growing Mandevilla which are perfectly suited for small pots. The plants can be grown without support as they flourish up to 12 centimetres. They are easy to propagate and to grow.
