GORINCHEM, Netherlands: Event organiser Easyfairs today announced a major revamp of the 2020 edition of the Dutch-based HortiContact trade exhibition.
The new layout comprises of different themed-areas (HortiPackaging, Soft Fruit Experience, Fossil Free, Cannabis, Innovation Zone) and offers participants more room for novelty displays, knowledge sharing and interaction. The show’s top floor will be turned into an additional exhibition area.
“We are noticing a shift in the reason why visitors come to trade fairs. Visitors no longer come only for a contact moment, they also come to gainnew knowledge, see innovations and attend lectures. More importantly, they want to experience. The current floor plan did not allow this enough”, explains Mariëlle Schonewille, Head of Horticulture at exhibition organiser Easyfairs.
“With the new layout of the exhibition floor we can create more experience and different possibilities to gain new knowledge, highlight hot items and show innovations. We have set up various themed areas and network lounges. There will also be food plazas that increase the experience. With this new layout, we want to make the exhibition for the international market even more interesting. Furthermore, we have expanded our exhibition team and strengthened it with Ceoray Rozenboom, as the new point of contact for HortiContact 2020”, says Schonewille.
