Plantarium|Groen-Direkt ’s Autumn Fair once again proved a magnet for thousands of buyers and exhibitors, with strong trade, award-winning plants, and a lively atmosphere. The two-day event, taking place in Boskoop from 27 to 28 August, combined new introductions, valuable meetings, and the Green Retail Awards, underlining its role as a key moment in the retail calendar.
The Awards Jury — which included FCI columnist and mega plant influencer Michael Perry (aka Mr Plant Geek) — brought particular recognition to Florensis, whose Buddleja Little Rockstars brand won the Best Market Innovation award. Within this same series, a new variety, Buddleja davidii ‘Botex 009’ (Little Rockstars Red), was also chosen as Best Novelty of the fair.

The Visitor’s Favourite award went to Bailey Nurseries for Vitex agnus-castus QUEEN BEE, admired for its long lavender-blue flower spikes reaching up to 25 cm — a true showstopper of the fair.
