NAIROBI, Kenya: After a two-year break due to Covid-19, Kenya’s premier flower trade show Iftex will return to the Oshwal convention centre in Nairobi, Kenya between 30 May-1 June 2022.
According to show organiser HPP, the 9th edition of Iftex will host more than 125 exhibitors from home and abroad and a strong contingent of pre-registered international buyers.
One of the highlights will be the international Flowers by Sea conference on the transport of flowers by sea on 31 May in the auditorium. This event is organised by the Kenya Flower Council in association with Kuehne+Nagel, Maersk, FlowerWatch and Chrysal. Attendance is free. Book your space HERE
Preparations for the 3-day event are well underway. It’s a challenging time for Kenya’s floriculture industry with high commodity prices and ongoing disruption is the supply chain creating difficulties for all stakeholders involved. So the event organiser hopes that this year’s Iftex show will put faith back in face-to-face business and bolster Kenya’s market position as a leading flower producer.
