Austrade to support Australian nursery and cut flower growers at IFEX Japan

Austrade in Tokyo will support participation by Australian nursery and cut flower growers in the 2018 International Flower and Plant Expo (IFEX). This is being held in Tokyo, from October 10 to 12.  Austrade said there are still a few places left for other businesses to participate.

To keep costs of participation minimal, Austrade is offering very basic assistance which would cost around A$2,500 per company. Other costs that would need to be covered include:

* shipping and delivery of any product to IFEX in Japan

* display materials

* each person participating would need to pay for their individual airfares, accommodation, meals and local transport costs.

There are several importers interested in importing fresh flowers and plants from Australia and Austrade would be pleased to arrange appointments with them during IFEX. Market interest in Australian products is picking up.
