GHENT, Belgium: Belgium’s iconic flower show was due to be held in May 2021. The aim is now to organise the event between 29 April -8 May 2022. At the same time, show owner and organiser, the Royal Society for Agriculture and Botany, announces a Floralies ante-premiere in spring, a dual format that will combine a physical and online event
This spring’s Ghent Flower Show/Floralies of Ghent has been postponed until 2022 as it contemplates the disruption amid the outbreak of a second wave of coronavirus. Simultaneously, organisers decided to stick to the ‘My paradise, my worldly garden’ theme for the 2022 edition.
The hybrid event this spring will last for 6 days and will culminate on Mother’s Day. It will serve as a ‘teaser’ for a new and younger generation of plant lovers and flower aficionados. More details will follow soon. Organisers are looking into different locations across Flanders.
All vouchers remain valid for the edition of Floraliën 2022 and all customers will be informed. For general information about this, the email address for individual tickets (tickets@floralien.be), groups (veerle@floralien.be ) or VIP customers (vip@floralien.be)
