Iberflora 2025: Where Business Meets Design, And Valencia Smells Of Lemon

At Iberflora 2024, visitors paused to discover new varieties and ideas among the vibrant plant stands.

From 14 to 16 October, Feria Valencia will once again host Iberflora 2025 — a fair that promises more space, more creativity, and more opportunities for professionals across the green sector. With redesigned pavilions and a programme that blends business with design inspiration, Iberflora is set to be a highlight in the international horticultural calendar.

Pavilion 1 will showcase the strength of Valencian nurseries through ASFPLANT members and the Mediterranean Break networking zone. Pavilion 3 introduces a bold new concept linking plants to architecture and interior design, complete with themed rooms and its own auditorium. Spain’s regional collectives, from Galicia to the Canary Islands, will also be there, underlining the fair’s breadth and buyer appeal.

The creative pulse will beat strongest in Pavilion 4. Universo Floral will shine a spotlight on training, artistry, and talent from Interflora and GFI, with special guest Samuel Flores, winner of the Interflora Best Florist Craftsman Cup. The Garden Centre hub will bring together the Aliat buying group, DIY suppliers, and leading nurseries, offering a commercial showcase for the garden retail channel.

Iberflora brings together growers, buyers, and garden professionals in a bustling marketplace of ideas and plants.

And then comes the showpiece: Horizonte Limón. Designed by Valencia’s own Sigfrido Serra, the space captures the spirit of the Mediterranean through its use of colour, vegetation, and a skyline-inspired design. With its hammocks, bar, and presentation areas, it is designed to serve as both a business hub and a relaxing retreat. Serra explains: “Valencia smells of lemon, wet earth, and eternal summer. With this space, I wanted to capture that moment when the countryside meets the city.”

Horizonte Limón will also host Noche + Verde, Iberflora’s legendary social gathering. This year, it takes on a new early-evening format, closing the fair on a celebratory note. “Iberflora needed a space with a Mediterranean soul that would be both a place of work and a place of celebration,” says Máximo Solaz, event director.

With international buyers, influencers, and press converging on Valencia, and ICEX reinforcing the fair’s global reach, Iberflora 2025 is more than a trade show: it is a vibrant stage where business, creativity, and Mediterranean flair come together.
